Random stream-of-consciousness from FINALS week.

Because we all know how stressful finals can be, here are some of my thoughts from fall quarter, jotted down between papers...

"Is it just me, or is it fascinating when your favorite authors/ musicians are influenced by others of your favorite author/ musician list? Of course this would assume you read."

"Academics should really think about employing more pop culture into their daily lives, it would not only make journal articles exponentially more fun to read, but it is obvious that the entire world is slowly going the way of US Weekly."

"If we spend more time shopping than working, or doing anything else for that matter, how will we ever use the stuff we buy? Oh, scratch that, we don’t."

"If the past was so fucking wonderful, why did we move past it? Perhaps it wasn’t as great as we have romanticized it to be. Wake up, it’s today, deal with it."

"God is good, even if you don’t think God is. Perhaps the Creator knows a little more than you do about the definition of goodness. Just a thought. "
